#34 Episode: "Launching a Passion Project" with Guest Singer/Songwriter Ariyah Brynn

*BONUS ALERT - Ariyah Brynn performs her latest song LIVE during this episode!!!

One of my favorite things about doing what I do is getting to connect with people.
No matter how old we are, we all want to fulfill the plans that God has for us.
The challenge for many of us is knowing those plans and I don’t mean just the dream or idea, but also how to practically pursue our God-given dreams through goals and dated actions.

I am so proud of one of my students, who happens to be a recent high school graduate. This teen has been developing her God-given talents in music for years, but recently she took my FLIGHT course (see details below) and began to apply it to one specific God-given dream or what I like to call - Passion Project.
I watched her run with the course principles and I could not be prouder of her.

Listen in on how Ariyah Brynn used the principles in my book FLIGHT to launch her latest music video for her debut single "Dejvu"

#30 Episode: "Make a Place in Your Space" with Guest Shelly Massey

Uncategorized Apr 29, 2021

Is your place productive?

And what I mean by productive is a term I call “enjoyable productivity!”

This would describe a place where you truly enjoy getting things done.

When you wake up each morning do you have that special place where you pray to start your day that is so inviting that it draws you in?

When you go into your office area - either at work or at home - do you feel refreshed, energized, and ready to get to work on the things God has called you to do?

When your kids or you are ramping up for that zoom call for school, work, or to connect with friends or family do you already have that set spot or are you scrambling to find the right place away from laundry, dishes, or harsh shadows that make you look like the scariest version of yourself?

Then this episode is for you - because today Shelly Massey, owner of Simply Clean Homes joins me as we share how to “Make a Place in Your Space” creating...

#26 Episode: "3 Ways to Do Projects with Those You Love and Still LIKE Each Other!

Uncategorized Feb 18, 2021

Let’s get real.

"When you and your loved ones work on a project do you end up
not liking the people that you love?"

As Christians we are supposed to love our neighbors as ourselves - including our family and friends while we work on projects with them.
We all fall short of walking in love some times, but there are ways to create "enjoyable productivity" in our lives with our family and friends.

But before we get into these ways; in this episode I will share...

~ What “enjoyable productivity” is and how to create it in your life

~ What is the difference between a project and chore/task

~ Two different Projects
1.) Passion Projects
2.) Petite Projects

One of the biggest ways to create “enjoyable productivity” in your home and office space is to get other people involved in fulfilling projects - in the right way.

#25 Episode: "How to Do What You Love to Do!" with Special Guests Emily Mercer & Van Hickman

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner today I wanted to encourage you to...
Do What You Love!
- So, what do you love to do?
For me I love it when my family are all in one room with no media on and we are laughing, mostly because of my husband, while we tell stories or share jokes together. I also love writing in my journal - it is so relaxing to me - after my Bible time, almost every morning, you can find me in my chair, in my bedroom, typing up a journal entry as I sip my hot tea. I also love to kick the soccer ball around with our aussiedoodle Tux - which is most certainly what He loves to do.

Recently, I asked two of my friends to share what they love to do and how they continue to do what they love.

Emily Mercer is a Biblical Counselor and longer time lover of prayer.
Van Hickman is a comedian and annoucner who developed a love for voice over work.

Both Emily and Van share inspirational and practical tips on how they continue to do what they love to...
